Model Year: 2005 Model: Eric Clapton Signature

You don't need to be a fan of Eric Clapton to be a fan of this guitar. Built in the Fender Custom Shop, this Artist Series "Blackie" Signature Stratocaster is as nice a Strat as you will find, and it delivers an unbelievable range of tones with its Clapton-spec unique circuitry and Vintage Noiseless pickups. From a condition perspective, it definitely doesn't look like a guitar that's been around since 2005. It's lived most of its life in its case, and the frets show very little wear. In fact, the backplate even still has the plastic protector on it. The only finish imperfection is a small mark on the edge of the body (pictured). The guitar comes with two sets of volume/tone knobs, the stock set and an aged set. In the process of swapping the knobs, a part of the stock volume pot post broke, so I had the pot completely replaced by (authorized Fender dealer) Fuller's Vintage Guitars, and in the process, they gave it fresh .10 strings and a setup.Watch YouTube videos and read the reviews online ... This is a model you need to own, and the Custom Shop craftsmanship and quality really make it stand out from the (still good, but not Custom Shop) American model. The active mid boost is like an on-board drive pedal, making this a tone machine. This guitar comes with all of its case candy, the Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, and a G&G tweed case with a really cool relic treatment. It's the same model case that came with the guitar from Fender, but I'm not sure if the previous owner had the OEM case relic'd or if this one was purchased separately. Since this model came in the standard G&G Fender tweed case, if you wanted to replace it, it would only set you back about $120.I'm not interested in trades. Please respond via email to the address in this listing if you have any questions or want to check her out. Thanks!=====Model Features* Select alder body* 1-piece soft maple neck* Clapton special soft V neck shape* 25-1/2" scale* Maple fingerboard* 9.5" radius* Bone nut* 22 vintage-style frets* 3 Vintage Noiseless pickups* Master Volume, Master TBX tone control, Master Active Mid-Boost (0-25dB)* 5-position blade pickup selector* Nickel/chrome hardware* Blocked American vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge (can be unblocked for normal trem use)* Fender Gotoh vintage-style tuners
