A true rock ‘n’ roll legend!! An original 1969/70 Marshall JMP Super Lead 100w. This is the gold brushed aluminium version with serial number- SL/A 0462C. Painstakingly restored here at Time Travel Audio using period correct replacements of the highest quality. The amplifier has had all main filter caps replaced (Mundorf Audio Grade) and the bias network has been re-built (filter capacitors and diode, Sprague caps used). There has been a replacement eight pin octal-socket (genuine N.O.S McMurdo) and one pre-amp tube socket fitted (first stage). This was done with the repairs above to ensure safe operation and reliability. The entire turret board circuit is all original. A matched quad of original N.O.S Tesla EL34’s have been fitted in the power section(Marshall used these instead of the Mullards on this era of amplifier) along with three Brimar ECC83’s fitted in the pre-amp and phase splitter positions...ensuring a tasty vintage tone !! This amplifier is fitted with the lay-down transformer and turret board circuit construction which made the Marshall’s of the late 60s so revered , grab yourself a fully operational piece of history that's ready to rock.As an amplifier repair centre all our amplifiers come with a 12 month warranty on work carried out (terms and conditions apply).
