Nothing beats the sparkle of a great tube microphone! These are beautiful microphone systems and provide superb results for recording vocals, acoustic instruments, drum kits, overhead orchestral recording, [really] anything! Sold fully working, absolutely manufacturer sealed new, and with Telefunken Elektroakustik USA warranty. The Ela M251 F tube microphone supports the low frequency character of the chest cavity, wood tones of the drum kit, excellent for room miking, and delivers very detailed vocal recording in mid range with smooth upper frequencies. Embodies all attributes of U47 and C12... the best for orchestral and quartet recording, absolutely wonderful for miking live drum kits in medium to large size rooms...Features edge terminated capsule... (the edge terminated design derived from the AKG CK12 as found in vintage 414, C12, Ela M251)... the edge terminated capsule is design to be analogous to an ear diaphragm... no center conductor wire... Employs export release tube GE 6072 as in vintage models...
