CTM 000-18 Quilted Mahogany Limited Produced by Martin Custom Shop from 2013 to 2014 has arrived preeminent beauty goods secondhand! It is a gem of 25 production limited only in Japan domestic sales!
In the TOP, we adopted a premium grade beacon, sitka, spruce, SIDE & BACK a beautiful quilted mahogany of heather eyes, neck using mahogany only, finger board & ebony using ebony, luxurious good material Special model used abundantly!
The nut width is 44.5 mm, and the neck shape does not change much heat even if it transits to the high fret, a modifier low oval profile neck called so-called PA neck. Bracing has become a specification full of vintage flavor such as GE style scallop · bracing, authentic type decal · logo and long slot · saddle.
While the sound is mahoganyishashii soft soft and gentle sound, due to Bare Crow & Quilt / Maho, there is a harmonic overtones feeling luxurious in the gentle tone, finished in a gentle luxurious feeling full of sound It is! If you play with a flat pick, you get good startup, you get a rich sound like Scallop · Bracing, which is rich in overtones, and if you pawn with fingers, you can enjoy a soft soft gentle healing sound.
Condition of instruments is beautiful condition without scratches almost as much as you can see! If you look carefully well and finely, there are scratches on the surface that are slightly dented, such as bumping a hard thing around the lower bridge on the 6th string side of the body / top, but superior to the bare eye of the bare claws are overlapping , I do not mind at all for what I normally see. It is the first time I realize that it is recessed by reflection of light. Also, the binding has shrunk and rolled up, the binding on the back side is short of distance, you can see the addition of the binding of about 1.5 mm under the neck heel. Others do not have scratches like scratches, so if you think in total, you can say that we keep pretty beautiful conditions.
Neck condition is also good, beautifully straight, the current string height is on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.5mm, the 1st string side about 2.0mm is the best setting. There is still room in the saddle, so you can fine-tune further the chord height. Fret has a part with a trace of a faintly string, but almost the height of approximately 90% remains.
