Awesome instrument, and perhaps Yamaha's most highly regarded guitar ever made. It plays like butter--I just set it up with a brand new set of 10's, polished the frets and oiled the fretboard. She is a real looker and the finished has aged beautifully. No visible fretwear, and the polish has given them a nice smooth feel if you're a blues player or like to bend. I really really want to keep it... but I also have a 90's AES1500 and a different guitar that covers that 335 territory so I can't really justify keeping both.Guitar does have a couple of bumps and bruises, hence the low price, but no breaks or repairs and none of the damage affects playability or sound. This is a beautiful guitar, and was well maintained over it's 25 year life. There are two medium dings to the binding on the lower bout, and a dent by the input jack. There are also a few little scuffs and nicks on the back (very minor) and a very small chip on the corner of the headstock. Some of these things are so small they're almost non-existent but want to disclose everything I can. The most major of these blemishes are pictured (not enough pictures allowed on eBay to show all).Guitar comes with a gig back, but for $200 more and a slight delay in shipping, I could procure the G&G OHSC and ship it in that.Based on the prices of other SA2200's I see for sale, I think this is a fair price, but feel free to try and convince me otherwise. A mint SA 2200 would be 2k! I will ship internationally but it will be extra, and expensive. Thanks for looking! Slight discount for local pickup.
