I love, love this guitar!  Unfortunately, I have to sell it as my hands just don't work well enough anymore for any good playing andalso due to downsizing because of an upcoming move.I bought this guitar new from Guitar Center, after playing MANY different acoustic guitars. Taylor and Martin are often consideredsome of the top brands for acoustics, but I didn't like any of the Martins I tried. Even much more expensive Martin models were just OK.Then I picked up this Taylor, and instantly fell in love! It has a wonderful bright, yet warm sound that makes it a joy to play. If you love playingacoustic, you could easily spend twice this much for a guitar that just doesn't have the same hard to find tone.It has a really pretty two-toned wood finish, with the lighter wood on the face and then the sides and back being Sapele (an African hardwood that's got a really beautiful subtle variegated grain). Check out the photos to see what I mean. This guitar has an electric pickup built right in, with volume controls right on it, but it never worked. When I looked at it, it appears to just be a loose wire on the inside, but I never bothered to take it to Guitar Center for a quick fix, because I didn't use the pickup at all. Also included are an electronic tuner and capo. There may also be nearly a full set of extra strings in the storage cubby inside the case.
You'll see from the pictures that there's an area on the front face where playing has worn away the clear veneer over the wood and there are now significant scratches/grooves in the wood in this area too. The picture doesn't really show it well, but you can tell its been played right in this spot. Otherwise, save for a few very small pits/dings that you likely won't even notice, it's in great shape. It has a strap too.It comes with a really nice hard case. It has a black exterior with high quality silver colored metal clasps that stay closed (good for travel) and green faux velvet/fur type lining that's quite nice.
