Model LG-1 representing Gibson / Small Body as well as B-25. In the ladder bracing structure, different from the B - 25, the bluesy sound is a popular model!
Spruce TOP, Mahogany SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Hakaranda Fingerboard, Plastic Bridge, Measured 40 mm narrow and neck, 24 1/75 inch scale 14 1/8 small body. Usually LG-1 of the 1960s is mostly of a slightly thin brown, sunburst, finish called ice tea burst, but the individuals arriving this time are dark sunbursts like the 50's It's being blown, it looks good looking cool! Even in the 60's, occasionally I see LG-1 of this dense sunburst, but I feel like most of what I made in 66 years. Whether it is the difference between craftsmen who blow the color, or this color happens to be blown for a while for a while ,,, The truth is in the darkness, but the neighborhood can be quite like Gibson, right? (Laugh)
Sound sounds like a lightning ring with the Karan Colon unique to LG - 1! The balance between muddy sound by ladder bracing and the sound which is light and lightly escaped only by plastic bridge is exquisite and you can enjoy the sound which rolls and it rolls lightly without being able to taste only with this model. Especially, the arrival of individuals is impressive with a stronger appearance of 1st and 2nd strings, and it sounds pretty brighter.
Although the condition of the instrument is age, it has scratches, feeling of use, repair history, but the feeling of gloss of paint etc remained pretty beautifully, and it is a good condition over the average point in total! There is a crack repair trace of about 10 cm in the part of the body back from the center a little toward the side of the first string. It is firmly glued, reinforcing cleats are also hit, so there is no worry about strength. Also, the plastic bridge has cracks slightly in the front center part, and the rear side is deformed so much. Since there are no cracks in the screwing positions on both sides on the back side, this is also a problem of appearance, there is no strong worry. Others have small scratches and slightly weathered checks, but if compared with the average age of the same age vintage, I think that scratches are a little less.
Neck condition is also good and beautiful straight, the current string height is set on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.6mm, on the 1st string side about 2.2mm. There is still room in the saddle, so you can fine-tune further the chord height. The frets are centered on the low frets, but there are also parts that are slightly dented, but the height of about 70% of the original remains even in the area where it is decreasing the most, so you can still defeat the gun gun still more.
Following the soaring price of the US market, individuals who are steadily increasing their prices in Japan are getting less and less cut for LG - 1.20 million yen, so those who are considering getting started early!
