Description Brand: Fender String Configuration: 6 String Model: Telecaster Custom Body Material: Solid Wood Body Type: Solid Model Year: 2004 Body Color: Black Items Included: Case Dexterity: Right-Handed Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
For sale is this double-bound Fender AVRI 1962 Tele Custom in Piano Black. This Tele is super-classy with its classic tuxedo styling, and the thin black nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the body has a very deep sheen to it. This ’62 Reissue sounds just about as good as any Tele I’ve heard, and the playability is on par with the best American Reissues I’ve felt! The quartersawn maple “C” shaped neck has a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25” radius, which is (in my opinion) the perfect combination for a Telecaster. Chording is a breeze, and the rich lacquer finish makes for some comfortable playing! The saddles have been upgraded to Callaham brass saddles, but the originals are also included in the case. Otherwise, this Tele is all-original. This guitar is 13 years old and has been played, so it does show some signs of use (several dings, swirling, scratches, etc). The previous owner touched up some of the dings on the top with automotive paint (see detailed photos), but the tele is in overall good condition for its age. Comes with ashtray bridge cover, original saddles, hang tag, and original case.
