For auction is a 1993 American Standard Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red. When I acquired this guitar the neck was incredibly worn, with the lacquer worn to the wood in places, flaking off in others. The frets were very worn. I have since totally rejuvenated the guitar in every way, although the body only required a simple clean. The neck has been fully refinished in oil (Birchwood Casey Tru Oil) which feels incredible, finished with a few coats of wax. Think Wolfgang/Axis neck finishes. The neck looks essentially brand new and the frets have been leveled, crowned and polished. The guitar is now such a joy to play. I would love to hold on to it, but as I originally bought it with the intention of reviving it to sell, I must move it along. As always, I'd highly recommend any potential buyers come along and have a go before buying, however I'll ship to UK mainland fully insured if required. The guitar comes with the original 90's hard case, which are certainly more bombproof than recent iterations. The original trem arm is also present. I'll include an official Fender truss alan key too. Not much more to say except this is an incredible guitar with a new lease of life that will be enjoyed by the buyer. Any questions, let me know.
