Description Brand: Fender Model: Deluxe Reverb Exact Year: 1979
For sale is my Fender Deluxe Reverb Silverface. I believe it was manufactured around 1979.These are highly sought after amps these days due to their great tone and versatility. The most notable thing about this particular piece is that there have been a few modifications done to the amp to improve the tone, reliability and functionality. All mods were done by the great Harry Kolbe () in NYC. It should be noted that he did all the mods in such a way that they can easily be undone in case you are a collector or just prefer the original specs. The mods are:- Changed tubes to 6L6s- Changed power supply chord- Added a solid-state rectifier- Added a Master/Volume (this was done by changing the "Intensity" knob on the front panel to be the Master Volume and moving the "Intensity to the back of the amp in one of the old inputs)Footswitch and cover included.Feel free to send me any questions you have about this amp. This was my primary gigging amp for several years, but I haven't used it in a few years (mostly because backline is provided at most of my gigs) and am unloading a few items.Thanks for looking!
