This neck came from a late 1972/early 1973 Precision Bass, in pristine condition. It is complete with tuners, bushings, screws, and string retainer. From what I can see of the date code, it says 52nd week of 1972, which is the same timeframe of the rest of the bass. The pots were early 1973, and pickups were 1st week of 1973. Tuners are smooth and snug, but not too tight. The lacquer on the face of the headstock has the obligatory 45+ year old crazing, tried to show it in the photos. Can't tell if the nut is original, but appears to be. I see one small area near the treble side of the nut which may be a touched-up clear flake. Other than that, the finish is quite remarkable for a maple fretboard. Original frets! This is just a super nice, straight as an arrow, vintage maple Fender neck. Truss rod works great. Ready to bolt up.If you don't need the tuners, I may consider selling without; send me an offer with what you have in mind and state "tuners removed" in your message.FREE SHIPPING!
