This is a 2008 American Deluxe Series Ash Telecaster, serial number DZ8245459, in exceptionally fine condition.  This rare Tele is fully original and features an ash body grain, see-thru butterscotch finish with black pickguard for that early 1950’s vintage vibe.   There are a few light scuff marks on the pickguard and neck pickup cover from minimal playing, but there are no other issues, not even any belt rash on the back.   The neck position markers appear to be abalone, the neck is straight, the string action is low, and the guitar plays and sounds great.   It features a 22-fret extended neck, medium depth with a C-shaped neck contour.  The guitar comes with all of its case candy, including owner’s manual, hang tags, S-1 switching system (it has that push button pot in the top of the volume knob), sales receipt, original brown leather strap never used, and even the original Fender cord still unwrapped.  This ash-bodied Tele weighs only 7 pounds, 15.5 ounces, and comes in its original Fender hard-shell case.     Choose 'Buy It Now' and we pay all shipping in the continental U.S., and half the mailing costs overseas.  Shipping to Australia is expensive, however, because to fit a guitar with enough packing and inside a full-size guitar box, it must be shipped Fed-Ex.  However, if an Aussie is willing to accept this guitar with the neck unbolted, and shipped inside a folded gig bag, it can be packed inside a shorter box so as to meet the postal service's (USPS) Priority Mail dimensional requirements.  The shipping and insurance would then be just $139 to Australia.  We would keep the hard-shell case.
