Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1976 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass in its original Burgundy finish. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the exception of the pickguard, one jack, and some of the screws. The pickguard is period correct, but it conceals extra screw holes left from a previous non-original pickguard. It's also 100% complete with the only exception being one of the washers from the back of one tuning keys. It even has its original hardshell case which has one broken latch. This vintage Rickenbacker bass looks great with some nicks + dings, a small area of belt buckle wear on back, a small pickguard crack on the bass side of the pickup, and other cosmetic wear. The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. One of the screws in the pickguard had its hole made right on the edge of the control cavity wall, and does not stay in place very well. All electronics work and sound great. The non-original jack was installed and wired so both jacks function as mono jacks. This bass provides a very authentic vintage 4001 bass tone.
