HORN IS MEDIUM MOST POPULAR BORE 0.453" ( measured ! ) WHICH HELPS THE PLAYER CUT WITH THE SOUND THROUGH THE CROWD OF THE SMALL JAZZ CLUB . SERIAL RANGE #18xxxx is one of the best if not the best range for these horns ! THIS IS THE MODEL OF THE JAZZ LEGENDS ESPECIALLY MILES DAVIS WHO MADE THE MARTIN BRAND FAMOUS WORLDWIDE ! THIS MARTIN COMMITTEE IS IN USED / PLAYED CONDITION . It looks very well with very few small basically shallow contact wear in usual spots around nothing drastic. ( SEE PHOTOS ) . Very few minor dings around were just professionally fixed and this horn is ready to go . Great looking and playing original Martin Committee horn . Mechanical condition is excellent with smooth valves with no wear on pistons and very good compression. Even 2nd slide has the pop when removed ! There are no dings, dents or any resoldering around this horn. No bell repairs . This trumpet considering lacquer condition does not show that it's been played much considering over 60 years of age. All parts are original including 3rd slide ring. Case is original , has top Martin emblem and one latch even still has working spring in it and original handle is very good as well as well as original near mint silver Martin size 7 mouthpiece as well as original lyre ( attachable music stand ) . Case side belts on top are partial and bottom are almost complete with just slight tears on edges ( see top of the case photo as horn lays down on it ) . Don't miss.
