This is a really fantastic microphone, which is as close as you can get to a new U67. It uses the original Neumann K67 capsule and head basket from a brand new TLM67, a new Neumann silver body and Neumann black badge. The valve electronics and power supply are by Max Kircher in Austria, with BV12 transformers like the original 67. I have installed an original NOS Telefunken EF86 valve.The sound is almost indistinguishable from an original U67 - I have compared it with two, and they were as subtly different from each other as they were from this microphone. Everything is in completely immaculate condition with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
