Fender Japan reissues of 72 Telecaster Customs don't come up that often; even rarer are ones with rosewood fingerboards. The neck on this one is superb and the Japanese craftsmanship along with the hotter wide-range humbucker makes this model much more desirable than the Mexican reissues. The previous owner had unfortunately butchered the bridge pickup so I replaced it with a Catwhisker p90 for Telecaster. I fitted 500k pots for the p90 and 1meg for the humbucker which cuts through the darkness and gives the guitar it's tele jangle whilst being perfect for rock, punk or jazz. Being at least 17 years old there are a few bumps and dings but the condition is on the whole very good and the frets have loads of life left in them. I have vintage brass saddles fitted but will include the original 6 saddle chrome ones which provide more exact intonation. I will also include the Jim Dunlop strap locks if desired. I'm only selling as I'm after a Jaguar for some different options in the studio. The guitar is listed for sale elsewhere so it may be removed from ebay at anytime.
