Color me conga works, that built these drums is a private family owned fabrication and designing machine shop that occasionally salvages and builds custom and modifies congas for family and close friends, were not a shop making congas to sell. In 2008 we built this custom set of five carnival series drums, quinto two congas, tumba and super tumba for playing are variety of music shows from casinos to parties, weddings ect. But found we just preferred using three drums as two more to lug around got to be a hassle when doing gigs, so these two drums stayed at home and are in excellent condition. Hand selected natural rawhide heads are still new. Top grade acrylic urethane paint with UV in inhibitors “automotive type “with diamond pattern that legendary conga master patato valdez had done on a special conga set he used. Lots of hand crafted man hours machining designing, fabrication, and paint work to built drums like these. Truly a exceptional set. The only set like it in existence.
