With stand out looks, the Ventura is typical of Trev Wilkinson's fine eye for detail and building purpose into design. 21st century edginess and poised angularity blends with gracious curves to create a style which echoes iconic musical eras and genres. A premium American alder body provides the Ventura's tonal bedrock, and the 22-fret maple neck with rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth, positive playing response with choke-free bends. Rock solid Wilkinson E-Z Lok tuners are complemented by a Wilkinson WVP `wave' leading edge fulcrum vibrato with solid stainless steel saddles, stagger-drilled steel block and ultra-smooth action, all contributing to impressive total tuning stability. Ventura factors in maximum performance and high excitement. A `total firepower' pickup option of a tone-filled Fret-King PAF-style WHHB bridge double coil and two biting Fret-King WDG Focusfield® mini double coils in the neck and middle positions offers an amazing range of tones.
