The SL-1200GAE 50th Anniversary Limited Edition was limited to 1.200 units worldwide. The first 300 units were made for the Japanese market and all were sold in 30 minutes according to Panasonic, only 900 copies of the SL-1200GAE were released worldwide which makes this extremely very rare. Now they are Completely Sold Out. This Limited edition is different from the Normal SL-1200G which will be released in the winter.The Tone Arm of the SL1200GAE is made of very light material (Aluminum for the SL-1200G) and (Magnesium for the SL-1200GAE) Which has been cold drawn During manufacture to optimize The production of the material to increase damping effect.
