For sale is a very nice German violin by Adolf Zöphel, made in Magdeburg 1922. Perfect "like new" condition. Beautiful orange varnish, nicely flamed back and ribs. The ff-holes are flutet and the scroll good carved. The inside work is very clean. LOB: 35,5 cm. Originally labelled.*about Kurt ZöphelHe studied in Markneukirchen for three years with
E. Hermann Petzold and came to Faßmann in 1893 in
Magdeburg, 1897 he independently directed a violinmaker's workshop
and founded his own business in 1899,
in which he finds many encouragement. He prepares
his own varnishes and builds violins and violoncellos,
But he mainly deals with repairs.
He archieved several medals and other honors during his live time!
