Up for SALE a USEDRARE Vintage Electric Tele Walnut Guitar with a neck stamped "DiMarzio" Brass hardware - a Bridge plate marked Fender - great sounding pick ups - low action - beautiful herringbone trim - V shape neck - scale length approximately 26". Overall, a nice playing guitar with very hot pickups. There are various scuffs, scratches or minor chips throughout the guitar from normal use. INCLUDED in this auction is a Fender hardshell case.This guitar weighs approximately 8 or 9 pounds.Info found on the web regarding DiMarzio guitars: I have read some details regarding Dimarzio bodies being made by Charvel in the late 70's and early 80's during San Dimas days. If anyone knows otherwise, please feel free to chime in.In regards to this specific guitar, it was purchased along with some other items, from the Danny Lancaster estate. "Danny was an accomplished blues player and songwriter. He is credited as being the bass guitar player for the Sugar Cube Blues Band in 1967. In 1968, he was the writer of "Look What We Have Joined Together" which was a Top 10 song nationally with the Sugar Blues Band. He was also one of the founding members of the Sassy Jones Band and had played many regional blues festivals as well as several in Europe."
