This item is brand new it was sitting inside of a rack however it wasn't even ever used!!! I have however tested it to make sure it is working and it is in 100% working condition as you will see from the pictures as well. It will come exactly as it is shown in the pictures. GRACE is one of the top company's when it comes to musical equipment especially Preamplifiers. The top of it seems to have very light smudges which are from taking it out and handling the item take a look at the pictures. If you wanted to polish the unit that would be up to you I however am not going to I will leave that to the buyers discretion. It will be going back into a rack so I'm not sure you would even need to do that as the top won't be seen. Once again that will be up to the new owner. It does have the power cord also as shown in the last picture.I will be shipping this item through FedEx as they are excellent with professionally packaging high end musical equipment to ensure it will get to you in perfect condition. The item is not only delicate but heavy so shipping will be higher but well worth it for everyone, as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. That is why there is a handling charge.
