The MX4 has 4 independent stereo mix busses, each of which can be independently configured as Mix, Mix Minus, Pre/Post Mix or Direct Out. Each bus can be dynamically (via the console) assigned to any of the 14 inputs. 8 AES/EBU inputs and 8 Analogue inputs are provided. Bus outputs are available as both AES digital and analogue, again this is assignable.
The mixer features advanced DSP (Phase, HP, 3xEQ, De-Esser, Expander, Compressor) for each channel, a talback system, and advanced monitoring and automatic muting feature.MIX4 is a compact four fader mixer designed for many different applications in Radio and TV such as editing, voice over, back up console etc.Basic idea of MIX4 is to offer a simple mixer for the operator and simultaneously a unit integrating smart and useful interfaces, high quality components and amazing configuration possibilities.The core concept consists in a 19" 1RU unit that carries all necessary I/O connectors and a separate desktop remote control unit that provides all controls to operate the MIX4.The mixer is small and most of all extremely easy to operate for journalists but simultaneously offering tons of configuration possibilities for engineers to design „The" mixer(s) their station need.MIX4 provides a password protected management interface with different admin and operator modes.
