Hey folks, before we get started here, I feel the need to post a warning.  For those of you who are looking for a nice, shiny, sedate case queen, please close out now and move on with your lives.  If you choose to stay, your eyeballs will very probably be  burned, and your feelings will definitely be hurt.  Ok, for those who have chosen to remain, if your idea of the perfect guitar is one that looks and sounds like it spent a few months on the floor of a Mötley Crue tour bus (and liked it ) back in the day, look no further. This thing is NASTY! What we have here is an 89 Gibson explorer double 90, or explorer z, whichever. Depends who you listen to.  Bottom line, it's a  small bodied explorer with an ebony board, split diamond inlays, and a very unusual single coil pup. The single coil sounds beautiful! It's kind of like the power ballad that fools no one.  The humbucker is pure filthy, dirty, raunch.  It would be generous to call the finish player's grade.  Scratches, dings, and very awesome finish checking throughout.  There's a finish crack at the heel, it does not go through the wood, no issues with neck stability.  This thing oozes mojo.  It's the perfect guitar for hard rock/metal.  This is another one of my personal guitars, I'm not in a huge hurry to get rid of it, but I haven't picked it up in over a year.  So off to a new home.  Maybe. Shipping is  $45 via ups insured.
