Yamaha SG1000  - 1981 Original Vintage   This is one of the best examples of an SG1000 that I have seen in years of collecting.There are couple of marks on the guitar but nothing major and considering it's age this is truly remarkable, just light marks, bit of blemishing on the side above the strap connection point and some minor fogging to the rear which is only noticeable when you hold the guitar up in certain light but it's there so to ensure total disclosure for any collectors looking for perfection its mentioned as this does make it slightly less than perfect but as you all know its a very common problem with SG's. I also noticed that there is the slightest chip to the fat end of the plastic nut but I didn’t even notice it – It effects nothing  and it isn’t worth changing but when you get this close to perfection it’s necessary to mention everything.  No chips or dinks  - No binding issues – slight fogging to the rear – Light marks - No other Issues –  Legendary Original series. So here we have – A 1981 all original SG1000 with the coil taps and the original case all in amazing condition . It has been bought new in 1981 and cherished ever since, it is Amazing !!! It even still has the paper protection on the plastic bits on the covers at the rear. I have given it a setup with a set of new strings .You will be hard pushed to find a better example of this classic Yamaha SG1000 Guitar.
