Purchased directly from Japan. Epiphone Japan 63 ES-335 with Gibson open book shape headstock for Japanese domestic market only.I tried a 2nd handed Gibson Clapton Signature ES-335 in Tokyo and find the body shape of this Epiphone ES-335 is closer to the Gibson Clapton Signature ES-335 than all 63 ES-335 series from Memphis/Nashville Custom Shop.Both bodies of Clapton signature ES-335 and this Epiphone here were made in the same Terada Factory in Japan. Very good action, very good condition (check photos), very good condition HSC comes with keys.Sounds great both acoustically and electrically, tone is very clear and not muddy as a Gibson ES-335.Traditional Japanese craftsmanship, joints, bindings...etc are super solid. A very good choice if you don't wanna pay for a Gibson but also don't want a made in China Epiphone or a just-okay Korean made Epiphone.Shipping might take 2 weeks but usually takes 1 week in most case.Please feel free to ask any question, accept reasonable offers.
