Straight out of the brand new Yamaha Revstar range comes the RS620 Electric Guitar. Made using mahoggany and flamed maple, it has a superb structure with impressive features such as a wrap-around bridge and a steel wool finish.
MAHOGGANY AND MAPLE
Yamaha have deliberately chosen flamed maple and mahoggany to construct the body because of its ability to generate a warm, diverse range of tones, whilst offering plenty of sustain too. The Yamaha Revstar RS620 feels incredibly comfortable to play, but also looks and sounds great.
The Set-in neck is constructed using mahoggany tonewood and is securely joined to the body. Aboard the medium-profile mahoggany neck is a smooth rosewoood fingerboard containing 22 jumbo frets which offer lots of space to glide along comfortably.
EXCEPTIONAL TONE
Yamaha have fitted custom-wound alnico pickups in the neck and bridge positions of the Revstar RS620 electric guitar thus enabling it to produce a powerful output to suit your playing needs. A 3-way pickup switching capability along with the master tone and volume controls allows you to contour your sound with ease. The dry-switch Push/pull control means you can also mimic single-coil tone without any unwanted interference or background noise when changing.
READY FOR THE STAGE
The Revstar RS620 is fitted with a wrap-around bridge which is often a popular choice of bridge for solidbody guitars due to its ability to produce articulate intonation with ease. The headstock is fitted with locking die-cast tuners to uphold tuning integrity with precision, therefore it's really easy to retune your guitar accurately.
