YAMAHA TRB4-2 ACTIVE BASS WITH HARD CASEI am selling my Yamaha TRB4-2 bass which was made in Japan and will come with a good quality hard case.It is finished in a fantastic amber finish which allows the grain to show through and makes for a really stunning looking bass with gold hardware, there is absolutely no tarnishing on any of the gold hardware which you tend to see on a lot of these basses.I bought this bass from a friend a while ago ( along with an Ibanez bass which I am also selling ) as I always liked the way it sounded and played when I got chance to play it at his house, he was selling some of his basses to fund another musical project so I ended up buying two of them.It is an active instrument ( 9 volt ) and is a dream to play with some very professional features such as 3 band active EQ controls plus a master volume and a pick up pan control to give you a wide range of tones available.There are two large bar pickups which certainly put out a lot of power and with the active EQ this bass has a great powerful sound you would expect from a Yamaha.It has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, the neck is straight and true and the frets are almost as new, it is a 35" scale which gives 2 full octaves.I have only used it rarely and now due to a change in my family commitments I have had to drastically reduce the level I am playing at, so I have decided to sell some of my equipment and seeing this bass is in almost new condition it seemed sensible to offer this stunning instrument for sale so someone can make good use of it rather than it sat in its case in my house.The great condition of this bass can clearly be seen in the photos, it has been very well looked after.This is a very high quality instrument and I am reluctant to sell it but really cannot justify keeping such a fantastic bass and not use it.I have just fitted a new set of Rotosound roundwound strings so it sounds as good as new.I will pack it very well and send overnight with UPS fully insured.Any questions will be answered as soon as possible...
