1964 Mustang! The first year of the mustang and the only Pre-CBS year. This is a nice collectable and a great player. This has original neck, original body, all original electronics, original bridge, original bridge cap, original tuners, original plate! Basically Everything is original except the whammy bar (just the bar, the mechanism is original). I'm not sure about the finish. The finish doesn't match any of the Fender standard colors from the 64 Mustang; I think its seafoam or surf green, but it looks light blue.. Colors tend to change a bit when they are over 50 years old! Might be a Fender custom job matches the Fender strap nicely! The body, electronics, and mechanics are in excellent condition for a guitar of this age. The body shows some beautiful vintage wearing through to the wood coloring, but scratches and chips are minimal. The neck and frets show some real use, but lots of life left and no buzzing. The neck has pitting which makes bending and soloing kind of fun, without effecting the chord playing. It has a different feel because of this but that worn in feeling is kind of nice. It's a real player with a vintage strat sort of sound. Obviously great looking too! I'll include a hardshell vintage case and the matching Fender leather strap. I bought the strap new a long time ago and never used it!
