- all solid quality tonewoods: quality spruce top, intense tigerflamed maple back and onepiece rib, body with cornerblocks, brandmarked in side: E. PERRIN Fils A Paris
slightly flamed maple neck (wide at nut 26mm), accurate & deep cut snail, neck stamped "23" inside the peghead
original ebony nut & ebony saddle, original ebony fingerboard, ebony endpin, marked ebony chinrest
ebony tailpiece, 1xfinetuner
Dresden maple bridge The Viola is fully playable
There are two (former) repairs: In the back a long crack was glued/sealed professionally. Around the endpin area, a damage was properly and stable glued, too
Otherwise, there are no cracks or other damages on this fine piece.
The original shellac varnish is showing some authentic and characteristical signs of the time
