Early thin model – 1998 I think. Extremely playable and lightweight. Think it’s the Ambay Guasu wood but I’ll know when I check under the neck pickup later.I “degolded” this when I got it as I’m not a fan of gold hardware on guitars. I can put it back to stock if needed – if someone wanted this as a collectors guitar.Differences between stock and how it is now. Neck 490R pickup replaced by Gibson Classic 57. Bridge 498T pickup replaced by PRS Dragon II Treble pickup. Gibson Bridge and tailpiece replaced by Tonepros locking bridge and tailpiece. Gibson tulip tuners replaced by Grover Deluxe Tuners. Straplock buttons were gold when I got it and have been replaced by chrome. There are still some gold screws on the pickup surrounds, the truss rod cover and the rear control covers.Condition is Excellent. There are a couple of very minor dents in the top – I’ll try to show these in the photos I upload but they might be difficult to photograph. Comes in original Brown Gibson case with pink shroud.
