I have an almost, LIKE NEW, Magma external chassis with the Thunderbolt 2 connection. I installed a USB card with two ports that are powered by the Magma unit and signal is carried over via one Thunderbolt cord to the computer (I believe its USB 3- but I can't remember). Cost for USB card was $70...it's included for free! Everything works perfectly, as I got the unit for a mobile DIT station Christmas, and never got to use it.Let me know if you have any questions, as I try to be a transparent eBay seller! The unit has one or two scratches not the outside case, but thats it. Osha cable, and all the original contents are included. No instruction book though- you have to download them from Magma website. You'll also need a thunderbolt cord- Which I'm including for free too! (I had a small cut on the thunderbolt cable trying to pack it up- put a small piece of tape to protect it...cable is worth $60! I'm including for free!Everything is pretty much plug and play. This is also a great chassis for a external graphics card, or a RED Rocket (X or the original).
