Originally had wood hoops on top and bottom but kept breaking top head with rim shots. I recently replaced with new metal hoop on top. Has some minor rust on lugs but still sounds amazing. I have full kit that I'm willing to sell to the right buyer. I toured with this kit with the band Nothingface from 2000-2003. It definitely has some minor dings and scratches and like I said rust on some lugs. Once miked up and fresh heads you will forget all about that. Wouldn't be that expensive to refurbish this kit to near perfection. I recently had twins and have another on the way so I don't have a lot of spare time to soak lugs etc etc.
