Hello folks, Up for auction is my 1977 Fender Telecaster. The guitar has Lindy Fralin "Stock Tele" pickups in both the bridge and neck position. (These sound awesome, and are true to original specs.) I also installed a 4-way pickup selector, which allows the player to choose between the bridge and neck in parallel or in series. The saddle is also new (a stock Fender replacement), and the guitar has a new premium "bone"-like nut. There is still a lot of life left on the frets. Strap locks are installed. The finish on the guitar is obviously in somewhat rough condition, although it looks pretty cool if you ask me. I am guessing it may have been refinished or coated at one point in its life, I'm not sure. (I bought the guitar about 15 years ago, so I'm not the original owner!) The blonde finish is worn is some places (as the pictures show), but there is a clear-coat that covers the wood portions, so there is no exposed wood on the guitar. In short, this is a player's guitar, not a collector's guitar, and dang can this thing play. This was my primary electric guitar for many years (although I never gigged all that much with it). But the fact is I never play it anymore now that I have a wife and two young daughters. So it's time for it to be in the hands of someone who will breath new life into it. It plays great, and has the spank that a Tele should. The guitar comes with a black Levy's Leather gig bag. (These are premium soft cases.) It also comes with three sets of electric guitar strings, which I will not need any more. Feel free to pick it up in the Nashville area.
