The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   This Taylor 322ce 12-fret features a slightly shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length, where the body joins the neck at the 12th fret, and a repositioned bridge that sits closer to the center of the lower bout. The result is a slinkier handfeel that makes it easier to form chords and bend strings, and a tonal response that boasts surprising power, warmth, and sustain for the smaller body. The Grand Concert’s smaller sonic footprint also fits cleanly in a mix with other instruments when tracking in the studio and with a band on stage, making it a useful tool for professional session and side players. Its compact dimensions make for a physically comfortable guitar with an intimate feel and sound. The smaller footprint keeps the overtones in check, contributing to a focused, articulate sound that’s well-suited for recording and stage work. This 322ce 12-fret features Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides that produce a strong midrange focus with a splash of top-end shimmer, and a Mah top that helps even out the tonal response. Blackwood’s tone profile resembles that of Koa or Mah in its midrange focus - a little dry and clear yet also warm - with an added splash of top-end shimmer and richness found in RW, with overall strong volume and projection. It musicality suits a variety of musical styles. As a top wood, Mah produces a natural compression, so it won’t yield as quick a response as a Spruce-top guitar will. A Mah-top guitar will produce strong fundamentals, with clear and direct focus.
This guitar starts with a solid foundation in the Performance bracing with Relief Rout supporting the Mah top on the 2 piece Blackwood back with no wedge, and a scarf neck joint. The satin finished Mah neck is paired with a 18 fret Ebony fretboard with small diamond inlays in Italian acrylic.  Other distinctive features include black body and fretboard binding, vintage-style slotted headstock with Ivoroid buttons, Ebony bridge pins, Tusc nut and Micarta saddle, a Ventian cutaway, black pickguard, an all-satin finish, and Medium Brown statin with shaded edgeburst top. This acoustic electric guitar is equipped with Taylor’s Expression System 2 pickup. The heart of the Expression System 2 is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before. Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio”-grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness.  This guitar came in to The Farm on trade from a great customer and is in very good condition - the plastic is even still on the pick guard! - and it comes with the original paperwork and a Taylor deluxe hardshell brown case. According to the serial number, this guitar was produced on April 21, 2016 in El Cajon, California, and was #50 in the production sequence that day. At The Music Farm, we take quality seriously! That is why we have our in-house technicians do a multi-point inspection on each product, ensuring that it'll be ready to play when it hits your hands! Included in your shipment will be instructions on care and maintenance.  We want to help you Grow Your Passion®
