Guild Newark Street A-150B Savoy    Here is what Guild says about the A-150B Savoy:The elegant tone quality and design of this guitar will bring real satisfaction of ownership to the most critical player. A truly outstanding acoustic/electric, the A-150 Savoy is a pleasure to see and hear, pairing a wonderfully free-playing late-1950s Guild orchestra model with the distinctive addition of an exceptionally voiced DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000 floating pickup and a Blonde finish. The welcome return of a true Guild classic.Popular from the '30s through the '60s, DeArmond pickups were a very popular choice for amplifying acoustic hollowbody guitars. The A-150 Savoy sports a custom-voiced DeArmond 1000 floating pickup in the neck position, and it's got the warm, smoky glow you've heard on countless jazz recordings.Multi-piece necks are stronger and more rigid than single-piece necks, resisting twisting and warping over the years. Treat it well, and you'll get a lifetime of exceptional playability from the Guild A-150 Savoy hollowbody. This guitar weighs 5.8 pounds. What was refurbished on this guitar?

FAQ, frequently asked questions
Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping. What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  All refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.FOR A LOT MORE INFORMATION WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW!
