1967 Precision Bass neck. The bad news first- finish and logo were stripped off the back of neck and headstock. It was refinished with a thin, brushed-on lacquer to protect it. There is some wear on the back of the neck, but it looks like age (dried out cracking lacquer) more than playwear. Now the good news- almost no fret wear, very straight neck, working truss rod. This neck has a wide/flat profile--it doesn't take up much room in your palm. It's also lightweight. The original nut is in great shape. Comes with original screws, original tuner ferrules and original string tree. This neck plays FANTASTIC when strung up to the body- a great example of mid-century American craftsmanship. Perfect intonation, no dead spots, awesome sustain, great professional fretwork. Original frets.Treat yourself to a beautiful 50 year old American vintage bass guitar neck. You deserve it!
