We are based in Leeds, Yorkshire where, with a staff of five, we have restored vintage and antique pianos for twenty years. We take pride in our work and endeavour to return pianos not only to their original sparkling condition but also mechanically sound, playing well, in tune, with no malfunctions. Our re-conditioning process includes removing the keyboard, hinges and all brass fittings for cleaning and burnishing The mechanism is removed, inspected, cleaned and repaired if necessary. All the screws are tightened and the hammers aligned. The case is cleaned, waxed and burnished. The strings are cleaned and tuned. Finally, the piano is re-assembled and our in house piano technician will then regulate and tune it. Built in 1936 by Allison Pianos of New Bond Street, London W1.Dimensions: 53" long 47" wide 38" high. The case is veneered with fiddle-back walnut which has been burnished and remains in excellent condition. The original keyboard is in mint condition with no chips or discoloration. The strings have been cleaned and tuned. Both pedals function correctly. The action has been inspected, cleaned and regulated. A delightful piece of Art Deco furniture and a reliable instrument with a warm, mellow tone and a light to medium touch.The stool is included in the sale.
