This is a one of a kind, Made in USA Custom Wilson Ventures 50th Anniversary Model guitar for you consideration. Here's a brief history & description.My name is Jack Pimentel, Luthier and owner of JP guitars in Puyallup WA.  I've been building custom guitars since the late 1980's.I was approached by the Wilson Brothers in the Fall of 2012 to manufacture the first and only Made in the USA Ventures Model to celebrate 50 years of this iconic American Band!  I created the specifications and design based on their input. At completion Don Wilson personally came to my studio to play what became Prototype #1; identified and stamped "O" (zero). He can be seen with the guitar in one of the photos.Prototype #2 , stamped "00" (zero zero) was used as my reference for all details of the build.  All work was done by hand; no CNC. Prototype #1 passed all Quality Checks and was accepted and paid for by Wilson Brothers.  Just prior to Full Scale Production, we could not come to an agreement on how to proceed and to my disappointment, the contract was cancelled by Wilson Brothers. About six months later, the only way to recoup all my expenses and time that went into the Design and Pre-Production efforts, was to complete and sell Prototype #2; which was the first instrument built and was used as my reference for the completion of Prototype #1.Wilson Brothers sought litigation for the return of Prototype #2 and after four failed attempts, the judge ruled in my favor that guitar is my property.  I mention this to assure you, that you can legally by this without reservation!So here is truly a once in a life time opportunity to own a piece of Ventures history!
