The Steve Vai Signature Series JEM7V is an electric guitar made with a solid alder body and a JEM 5-piece, maple/walnut bolt-on neck, with a white gloss finish. The double-cutaway solid body delivers maximum resonance and sustain, while the JEM neck offers a comfortably smooth, fast, and articulate response. Three DiMarzio Evolution pickups offer depth, warmth, and rich dynamics, with a 5-way pickup selector for a variety of tonal options. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard with a "Tree of Life" inlay and scalloped on 21st-24th frets, an Edge tremolo bridge with a Lion's Claw cavity, an Ultralite Tremolo Arm, and Vai's signature monkey grip.
