original 1963 Gretsch The WHITE FALCON!!!

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1963 Gretsch White Falcon in its factory White finish. The odd detail with this Gretsch is that it has the older style serial number plate, but must have been sent back to the factory at some point where it was re-stamped on the back of the neck. We see no obvious indication as to what it may have been sent back for. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the possible exception of the pickup ring for the bridge position pickup as it is a slightly different color. It's also 100% complete along with its original hardshell case. There is a 4 inch crack on the back of the body, and the finish has chipped/cracked around the underside seams of the "wings" on the sides of the headstock. The mute levers do not work. One of the braces where the mute lever is fastened to had cracked and was partially re-glued. There are some nicks + dings, some finish cracks, pickguard and pickup ring cracks, some binding separation, and other cosmetic wear. Despite the issues, this vintage Gretsch is structurally sound and a great playing guitar with a solid neck joint. All electronics work and sound great.
