This is a pre-owned Gibson ES-137 Classic, a great guitar for the working musician’s jazzbox. As Gibson’s first archtop to employ a mahogany center block for reduced feedback and greater sustain, this is the instrument jazz and blues musicians rely on around the world to deliver a full, warm sound night after night. Other features include a bound laminated curly maple body, a bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. The guitar is in overall very good condition with some checking around the neck heel and some surface swirl as well. The previous owner installed a towner bar to the Bigsby, though the original is in the case.Questions? We're here to help!
