This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1976 Fender Princeton Reverb Silverface 1x12 Combo Amp. Originally sold as a student model. The Princeton Reverb has become a real players amp that is used for small to medium size gigs. Fender has actually Re-issued the Silverface Princeton Reverb. Years of Production: 1964 - 1981Features: 12 watts, 6 control knobs, 1x10-inch speaker1968-1978 “silverface” circuit AB1270 without Push-pull.From The Web:The Princeton Reverb is the smallest blackface/silverface Fender amp with both tremolo and reverb. With a 10 inch speaker run by a 12-15W dual 6V6 amp, it delivers a true “American” Fender tone with punchy, responsive lows together with chimey highs. When it is cranked it tends to sound a bit “browner” than the bigger two-channel amps, meaning more breakup in the lower frequencies and mid-focused tone.Compared to many bigger Fender amps the Princeton Reverb (PR) went through the CBS/silverface periods with very little changes. Still, many people consider the tone of the silverface Princeton Reverb just as good as the blackface. Being almost a blackface amp with a “wrong” faceplate, the large number of silverface models became popular player’s amps. Cosmetics: Excellent Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 41+ year old vintage amp that has been used. Tolex in good shape. There are some minor scuffs, scratches and tears. The grill cloth is faded due to age. Instrument Control Bezel in great shape. Shiny and clean. Dripping with "Mojo" This is the "Real Deal" Overall, good shape. Normal wear and tear. It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
