Rare Vintage 1984?? Japanese Made Fender Stratocaster Scalloped Maple Neck. Here's One You Won't See Listed Very Often. The 21 Frets are in Like New Condition. Written In Pencil At The Heel Of The Neck Is 8 - / 84. I Have Been Told That Although The Serial Number (S7 77425), On The Headstock Dates This As A 1977 Model. I Have Been Advised the headstock has been sanded down and that It Is A Fake Fender Decal. The Actual Date Of Manufacture Is 1984 As Per The Date On The Heel Of The Neck. The Back Of The Neck Has Been Hand Sanded To Remove The Lacquer, & Is Very Smooth & Fast. Included Is An Original Fender Neck Plate & Screws. I Do Not Have The Tuners Or The String Guides. The Nut Is Brass, & I Do Not Know If It Is Original To The Neck. It Appears That At One Time There Was A Small 1/2" Long Crack Repaired Above The Nut At The 5th & 6th String. It Is Barely Visible & Does Not Affect The Quality Of The Neck. The Truss Rod Turns Easily & The Neck Is Straight and has excellent relief.
