This 2016 Fender Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster/Nocaster Relic, is hands down the greatest telecaster I have ever played. This was purchased from Wildwood brand new on New Year's Eve. It has never left my smoke free home.There is not much that can describe this tele. Big u shape neck feels so smooth and comfortable.The guitar is so resonant and can ring out for days. Weighs only 6.7 pounds, and honestly I don't think it even weighs that.Guitar is in perfect condition. The only wear that is not part of the relic is a super tiny little chip on the side of the peck pocket. You can see it in the photo. It's hardly noticeable. The guys at Wildwood noticed it when setting it up and shipping it and asked if I minded and I said I didn't. I'm glad I kept it. Comes with all case candy and original tweed case.The special thing about this guitar is how it sounds. It came with hand wound nocaster pickups which were magical. I swapped them with Peter Florence Voodoo TE-50 pickups. Took this guitar to the next level. Big, fat, incredibly clear vintage early 50s tele tone. They go in all my telecasters and to me are the greatest. If you have any questions, please let me know. Just trying to fund another purchase of something I don't need.
