Vintage Altec 9470 A - Six Modules & Power SupplyThis is a complete six channel console tray removed from a vintage Altec mixing & recording desk. The listing includes the 2-space rack tray, six 9470 A amplifier modules and a 9550A power supply module. I've owned this for 20 years and used it in my studio and mobile rig. These sound awesome and are all fully functional.The rear connections on the tray are wired for mic input with six panel mount XLR female connectors, -20db pad switch and phase reverse per channel on the input side (the channel one switch pad switch is not working - bypassed directly to the connector). The third switch on each channel is for 48v phantom power. Though, I didn't have a need for it and never made up those connections. 48v could be activated using the 9550A power supply.Outputs are line level balanced on male TRS Neutrik connectors using Mogami 2932 multicore cable (2 unused channels in the Mogami whip - 1 unused XLR connector in the panel). I used these with a line level attenuation via my A/D converter (Antelope). So, outputs are unattenuated line level. PDF copy of the original manual with wiring diagrams is included. This is very heavy and the solder connections are quite delicate. I will carefully pack everything for shipping. Flat rate cost for US Domestic shipping by Fedex Ground for $50.
