I bought this from a bass player that had upgraded it. He had replaced the stock tubes with ECC 81 and ECC 83S tubes, and added isolation rings. He swore he could hear the difference in his bass rig.I am a drummer by training and I like to play some guitar and bass for fun. I have used this Solo 610 a little as a DI, but for the most part I haven't really used it all that much. I have recorded with it in the past. It yields a nice strong clean sound that isn't sterile. To my ears it sits well in the mix when I use it as a DI and then record a guitar and bass track. I can still get nice separation of the parts with clarity, but they work well together. It is in excellent condition with a small smear on the top of the box (see picture). It looks like something brushed against the finish slightly. I can only see it if I look closely in strong light. But it is there so I will mention it. That is the only thing that keeps this unit from being mint.Features: DI/Mic, Phase, +48 (Phantom Power), Phase, Low Cut Filter. Comes with power cord and manual.As a DI it is beautiful. Easy to use, lots of clean gain, and a nice warm sound that isn't wooly. The only reason that I am selling it is because I have caught a bad case of gear lust for a Hamptone preamp. I'm probably a fool to sell this, but who can argue with gear lust?
