i bought this some years back from the original owner's family. it shows lots of playing wear and is definitely a player's grade guitar. the functionality is great but it looks used-but-not-abused for sure. everything including bridge pins are original. there is some fret wear in the fingerboard and first 3 frets. neck is nice and straight. the action is between 3 and 4 32nds at the 12th fret on the bass side. it plays very easily. there is a long repaired back crack and there is also a top seam separation that is tight now. also the usual pickguard crack. it sounds great! it is the classic Gibson sound. woody and dry without a lot of overtones. i've used it on gigs many times and it sits real nice with my voice. it will come with a non-original hard case. these guitars are a bargain. they're a natural version of the SJ but i'm pricing this 1500.00 less than a comparable SJ. due to age and the repairs, i am selling it AS IS. i don't think it needs anything as far as further repairs but you may think otherwise. so, ask questions please before bidding. i have tried to be as forthcoming as i can be here. i don't want any disappointments.
