Up for sale is this clean vintage AC-10, but one that will need a little work to get it up and running. Again, this is a project amp that will need some work that should be manageable for a competent tech. Read the full description for details.Note this amp will not ship until Tuesday or perhaps Wednesday (i.e. May 23rd or 24th).The vinyl covering is very good overall but does show some typical age related shrinking in the finger joint area on the top edges of the cabinet. The two top front plasticcorners are largely intact but cracked. The diecast metal top vents are original but show some minor wear . Both speakers are original and working but one has a small RD cloth patch on the back. Vibrato foot switch 'egg' is missing in action and the original cord has been clipped. The AC cord has also been clipped, so you will need to put a new one on (easy job).The original voltage selector has been bypassed, as an "RS (stands for Radio Spares...) HYGRADE" power transformer is presently installed with a top bell voltage selector plug offering the options of 200/210, 220/230 and 240/250. This means the amp is basically currently wired up for U.K. Voltages, which means you will need a cheap step up-step down convert or to run it in the US. Or you can replace the power transformer. They are pretty cheap and easy to find. For some reason there is also a piece of gaffer tape over the rectifier tube socket. By the looks of the age of the caps, this amp could probably use a cap job. Tag board capacitors and resistors appear to be original. Choke and output transformer look nice. No tubes are included, and you will need to get a set for this amp. The bottom line is that this is a nice looking amp anybody would be proud to have in their collection but but it needs the attention of an expert tech.The amp obviously does not fire up at the moment. I will not accept returns or offer partial refunds because it is not working, as I've stated that upfront. You will need to have a competent tech do the repairs look over all the components to get it up and running. These costs will be your responsibility.Shipping is $59.99 to,the domestic USA.
