Letting Go Of My Sweet 1965 Fender Super Reverb (NOT A REISSUE) Professionally RestoredI purchased this amp about 10 years ago in an estate sale. The man's estate included an unbelievable collection of pre-CBS Fender amps. All were mint and all but one were way out of my price range. The guy worked for Fender up until 1965 as part of there amp development team. The amp that caught my eye was a 1965 Super Reverb in a single 15" cabinet. The man played slide guitar and this was his on stage amp. I purchased the amp and had it professionally restored back to a 4-10" configuration. It looks great and sounds wonderful. There is a very slight scratchy sound on the first volume knob but only when adjusting the volume. The cabinet was purchased off eBay as were the 4 - 10" speakers. All components were inspected and tested by a local amp tech. He replaced the caps and a few other components that were suspect. The tone is amazing black face Fender tone with a lush strong reverb and a strong functional trem. The original foot switch and mint original cover are included. This one is going to be hard to let go! Look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer quickly. Thanks for looking.
